A leader in Crude and petroleum product pipelines, Indian Oil started its journey in Natural Gas pipelines in the year 2010 with comissioning of Dadri Panipat Pipeline and later Ennore Manali and Ramnathpuram Tuticorin sections of Ennore Tuticorin Bengaluru Pipeline and Dahej Koyali pipeline, Indian Oil at present is operating 532 Kms of Natural Gas pipeline with a capacity of 48 MMSCMD. These operational Natural Gas pipelines are having 17 connected industrial and CGD customers including Indian Oil Refineries at Panipat and Koyali and CPCL Refinery at Manali. Another 1160 Km natural gas pipeline sections are under various stage of commissioning with a potential of over 35 industrial and CGD customers.
ED, CO informed that the proposal is for revision of health,Safety and Enviroment (HS&E) Policy of IndianOil. The HS&E Policy of IndianOil was last updated in 2001 and was approved by the Board at its meeting held on 28.08.2001. With the advent of new technologies,foray into new ventures and increase in the complexities of systems installed at various locations, the HS&E Policy of IndianOil has been revised to re-align with company's core values.
